Cookie policy.

How cookies and similar technologies relate to your use of our website.

Effective date: 28 September 2026

1. About this policy

This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used in connection with integralfacilities.co.uk. The website is operated by Integral Facilities Ltd, company number 16703700, of 111 South Road, Waterloo, Liverpool, L22 0LT. Read our Privacy Policy for information about enquiries, service records and your data protection rights.

2. What cookies do

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. They can help a website recognise a signed-in user, maintain security or remember settings. Session cookies normally end when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Similar technologies can store information in your browser without using a cookie.

3. Website and account functions

Our website runs on WordPress. Its account cookies apply when someone visits the sign-in area or signs into an authorised account; they are not required simply to read our public service pages.

  • Sign-in checks: wordpress_test_cookie checks whether the browser accepts cookies. It is a session cookie associated with the login page.
  • Account authentication: cookies with names beginning wordpress_logged_in_ or wordpress_sec_ keep authorised users signed in and protect access. Their duration depends on the session and whether Remember Me is selected. Signing out ends the active login.
  • Account preferences: wp-settings- and wp-settings-time- cookies remember a signed-in user’s interface settings. These can persist between visits.
  • Login language: wp_lang may remember the language selected on the login screen for that browser session.

The varying characters at the end of some cookie names identify the website or account. They are not separate categories of tracking.

Our enquiry forms use Formidable Forms Lite. Sending an enquiry gives us the information entered in the form; it does not subscribe you to marketing. How we handle that information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

4. Optional technologies and external links

Google Maps

Some Liverpool service pages offer an optional Google map. The map remains blocked until you select “Allow and load Google map”. Loading it connects your browser to Google, which may receive your IP address and device information and use its own cookies or similar technologies. Google handles this information under its own Privacy Policy and cookie information, including information about purposes, retention and international processing.

Your choice is used only for the current page visit and is not saved as a preference for future visits. Select “Hide map and stop loading Google content” to remove the embedded map. This stops the embed but does not delete cookies already set by Google; you can remove those in your browser settings. You can read our service pages and send an enquiry without loading a map.

We will request consent before using cookies or similar technologies where consent is required. Simply browsing the website or sending an enquiry does not give consent to advertising tracking.

Links to external services, including LinkedIn, take you to websites with their own cookie settings and policies. Those services may use cookies when you visit them. A link to another website is different from embedding its tracking tools into this website.

5. Managing cookies

You can inspect, delete or block cookies through your browser’s privacy or site-data settings. Search your browser’s help for “manage cookies” to find the instructions for your device. You can also clear other stored website data there.

Blocking account or security cookies can prevent sign-in or interrupt a requested function. Deleting cookies may remove saved preferences and require you to sign in again. Your choices normally apply to the browser and device on which you make them.

6. Questions and updates

Tony Bourke, our Data Protection Officer, handles cookie and privacy questions. Email info@integralfacilities.co.uk for Tony’s attention, call 0800 151 2215, or write to our registered office above.

We will review this policy when the website or its technologies change. The effective date appears at the top of this page.
