Builders’ cleaning

Agreed removal of construction dust and cleaning residue from accessible surfaces once the area is ready for cleaning. Timing is agreed against the programme, with the condition of each area informing the cleaning methods and resources required.

Internal surfaces and fittings

Attention to agreed doors, frames, skirting, fixtures and other accessible finished surfaces, with suitable methods for new materials. Materials and finishes are reviewed before work begins, with any delicate surfaces or manufacturer instructions identified in advance.

Kitchens, washrooms and floors

Cleaning of installed facilities and finished floors within the agreed scope, taking account of manufacturer care requirements. Access and readiness are confirmed for each area, alongside the finish required and any limitations arising from ongoing works.

Final presentation cleaning

A finishing clean close to handover, with attention to visible detail after the main works and agreed trades activity are complete. We agree the priority areas with your site contact and identify any further work that may affect presentation.

Site readiness and access

Confirm that areas are ready for cleaning, with safe access, utilities and arrangements for remaining trades. Responsibilities are agreed before the visit so cleaning can be coordinated with the wider handover programme.

Is this the same as property preparation?

Post-construction cleaning addresses the dust and residue associated with building work. Property preparation usually resets an already occupied or furnished space between stays or uses.

Is rubble removal included?

Bulk construction waste, rubble and skips are not assumed to be part of the cleaning scope. Any removal requirements must be discussed and agreed separately.

Can you provide a final clean after trades return?

We can discuss a separate finishing visit. Its timing and scope should reflect the remaining works and the condition of the site.

When should we discuss the handover clean?

Contact us once the likely programme and areas are known. We review readiness, access and remaining works before confirming cleaning stages, availability and the proposed quotation.

How are newly installed finishes protected?

Please identify delicate materials and provide relevant care instructions. The agreed cleaning methods take account of surface suitability, with uncertain or specialist requirements clarified before work is accepted.

What should be ready before the visit?

We agree access, utilities and the condition in which areas will be presented. Remaining materials, waste and other contractors are discussed so responsibilities and the cleaning sequence are clear.
